Helping visually challenged students in Mumbai

Through our Foundation, Ausenco is providing financial and in-kind support for the valuable work done by the South Indian Education Society (SIES) Pragnya Vision Centre with visually challenged students. Located in Mumbai’s Sion West and one of the oldest educational societies in Mumbai, the SIES has been helping visually challenged students realise their goals and ambitions for many years by making higher education available, accessible and affordable. The Centre aims to help students with disabilities have rewarding careers, be economically independent and lead a dignified life.

The financial support provided by the Ausenco Foundation will go towards sustaining two special skill imparting staff for the Centre. Employees from Ausenco’s Mumbai office will also support the Centre through personal involvement in teaching, reading, workshops to help the students develop good communication and teamwork skills and career counselling activities.
