Iron Ore Transportation System

The Ausenco - SNC Lavalin joint venture executed a prefeasibility study for Phase II of Anglo Ferrous Brazil’s Minas Rio Expansion Project.

This iron ore project comprises of a mine and beneficiation plant producing high-grade pellet feed. The pellet feed is transported through a slurry pipeline to the Port of Açu with the potential for further pipelines and rail access.

We completed the prefeasibility study of onshore stockyards, shiploading systems, offshore port and berths. We also developed a simulation model of the supply chain from the filter plant to the port.
