    • criticality analysis procedure
    • work management system
    • plant/equipment hierarchy development
    • spares analysis procedure
    • inventory management procedures and policies.
  • Implemented the following:

    • work management system development and roll-out
    • consolidation of inventory and review/update of stock levels
    • on-site coaching, mentoring and training on all the above asset management systems and processes.

Achievements

Ausenco Rylson assisted Transfield Services Asset Manager to deliver all of these services. Within a period of five months, the Maintenance Department converted from a reactive maintenance regime to a proactive maintenance regime; going from 20% proactive to 80% proactive maintenance activities.

This project was a forerunner to rolling out Asset Management systems and policies across the whole Transfield Services Group.
