Safety In All We Do
Ausenco places very high importance on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) as articulated in one of its core values – Safety In All We Do. Through its involvement in the delivery of many and varied projects around the world, Ausenco has developed a robust HSE system which applies across all aspects of Ausenco’s global operations. The Ausenco HSE Management System (AusSAFE) is comprised of:
- Corporate Environmental Management Policy (PDF, 176kb)
- Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Policy (PDF, 192kb)
- Thirteen HSE Management System Standards; and
- Associated procedures, guidelines and tools
A Corporate Safety Committee is responsible for review of the system on an organisational level and consultation with relevant parties on a regular basis for its ongoing monitoring and implementation.
AusSAFE is designed to provide a framework for:
- Developing and implementing a common approach to the management of health, safety and environment across Ausenco.
- Integrating health, safety and environmental management systems and processes into all business processes.
- Effectively communicating company policies and expectations to all employees, clients, contractors and visitors to our operations.
- Establishing clear health, safety and environmental performance criteria against which all areas of the company can be uniformly monitored and audited.
- Measuring health, safety and environmental performance at all levels of our organisation.
- Reporting health, safety and environmental performance to stakeholders and interested parties and
- Ensuring continuous improvement in our health, safety and environmental performance.
