In Process Infrastructure, nothing is beyond our grasp and we thrive on breaking new ground. Some of the breakthrough results we have achieved are:
- First and longest long-distance copper ore system ever built
- First iron concentrate pipeline and first slurry pipeline in China
- World's longest copper ore concentrate pipeline
- Joint venture to design the first long-distance pipeline in Peru, from an elevation of 4,100m to sea level, which is also the first multi-product (copper/zinc) pipeline in a mountainous region
- First long-distance (more than 150km) slurry pipeline in India
- Design of a sulphide tailings system that will include the world’s highest sand dam
- World’s first bauxite slurry pipeline
- One of the longest pipelines with the highest operating pressure of any pipeline in China
- One of the longest tailings pipelines in the world
- Largest throughput of any slurry pipeline in China
- World’s first nickel laterite slurry pipeline
- Developed Pipeline SimulatorTM – an advanced, customisable software package that offers pipeline operation simulation, pipeline accident simulation and operator training – offering clients a critical tool to ensure safe and efficient operation of complex pipeline systems
- Developed Pipeline AdvisorTM – a customisable software solution that includes visualisation, batch tracking, leak detection and remote pipeline diagnostics, which helps clients enhance operations and reduce downtime
- Designed and built the first solar-powered motor-operated slurry pipeline valve station and a SCADA system for the first pipeline system to be monitored via the Internet
