EPCM services for gold mine

The Bronzewing Backfill Project involved the construction of a cyanide destruction, thickening, mine backfill plant, two-stage crushing plant, and underground conveying and distribution system for the two Mtpa Bronzewing gold mine in Western Australia.

Our scope included:

• Preparation and supervision of a metallurgical testwork program
• Development of final process flowsheets and P&IDs
• Detailed engineering and preparation of all specifications for the various facilities
• Procurement, inspection and expediting for all process equipment
• Preparation and administration of all fabrication and site construction contacts
• Site construction management
• Commissioning of the project
• Project management and associated cost control, reporting and scheduling.

Project Highlights

• Project completed on schedule and within budget
• Incorporation of INCO cyanide destruction facility
• Project completed with minimum disruption to process operations within existing plant
• Minimal commissioning period.
