Breakwater Armour Design

Ausenco Sandwell completed the rehabilitation design for the breakwater that protects the coal terminal and the steel product berths. Detailed design included the use of aerophotography datasets to estimate volume changes, detailed profiling surveys and visual inspections, numerical modeling of wave transformation during major storms, construction methodology to re-use existing armourstone, drawings and specifications for construction.
