Ausenco is a recognised world leader in long-distance slurry pipelines and hydro transportation systems. Ausenco also has the experience and capability of performing logistical planning services for facilities, operating systems, and terminals to create an optimised solution for our clients.  Through analysing existing, expanded, or new port capacity, storage requirements to meet operational objectives, impact of weather downtime, channel and tide constraints, impact of improved infrastructure such as new tanks, better loading systems, dredged channels, expected demurrage costs, multiple-user ports and impacts of Annual Delivery Programs (ADPs), we create an optimised plan for operation and design bases for capital work, driving clients’ costs down and revenues up.

We provide full services for the design and construction of both utility and industrial distribution systems including substations, transmission and distribution lines, buried and tray cable systems, and electrical distribution and motor control centres.  Our skills include power system analysis, transmission line route selection and layout optimisation.

Design innovations include the use of modular, pre-fabricated structures and pre-tested assemblies to reduce time and cost and to give a higher level of quality control.  Our documentation system relieves the installer of much field engineering and provides the commissioning crews and maintainers with the necessary information to reduce down-time.
