Ausenco Taggart offers a significant, globally experienced alternative for the coal industry in the design and delivery of coal handling and preparation plants (CHPP).

Ausenco Taggart is a 50/50 joint venture between Ausenco and Taggart Global. Formed in 2008, Ausenco Taggart brings together the expertise and experience of two global leaders in engineering, project and construction management for the resources industry.

Taggart's global knowledge of the coal industry and Ausenco's experience in the minerals processing industry enables Ausenco Taggart to deliver major coal projects across the globe through industry experts based in Brisbane and Pittsburgh.

Capabilities

Ausenco Taggart can provide solutions across the Evaluate, Innovate, Create and Optimise project phases in the following areas:

  • Process design and engineering - including conveying, stacking and reclaiming; stockpiling, screening and crushing facilities; blending and storage systems
  • Project management - including design only; design and construct; EPCM; procurement; construction supervision; and commissioning
  • Contract operations - plant operations and training; Build and Operation (BOO); and Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT).

Ausenco Taggart also has the expertise to use prefabrication and modularisation to:
