We work hard to minimise our impact on the environment. We recognise the benefits not only for our planet, but for our business as a whole.

Our strategy is set out in our Environmental Management Policy (PDF 47KB).

As part of our commitment to responsible environmental management, we recently invested in assessing greenhouse gas emissions across all our global operations.

Armed with this information we are now in a better position than ever to develop and implement environmental best practice solutions to reduce our impact on the environments in which we operate.

This commitment also extends to our projects.  Our designs consider emerging technologies to protect, conserve and improve the world around us.  By working closely with local communities, we create and implement innovative engineering solutions that make a smaller impact on our planet.

We offer clients greenhouse gas reduction strategies for their projects across all our solutions phases – from Evaluate through to Innovate, Create and Optimise.  We achieve this by:

  • Delivering designs that address Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System criteria
  • Providing electrical capabilities that support regional power system requirements for reliability, efficiency and technology adaptation
  • Implementing purchasing policies that support sustainable supply chain requirements for low carbon intensity
  • Managing data for our clients’ reporting of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions.

We are committed to further developing our expertise in the renewable energy, natural gas, landfill gas and oil and gas sectors.  As such, our teams are currently undertaking a solar and desalination study in Africa and the conceptual engineering design for a plant-based ethanol facility in Canada.

We offer environment and sustainability solutions across a wide range of practice areas.
