Clint is an experienced mining industry leader with a broad range of skills and international experience in project delivery, plant operations and business management. He has a demonstrated ability to optimise assets and improve margins, deliver on safe production and implement strategic initiatives.
As leader of Ausenco’s Global Operations business he is responsible for our contract operations and maintenance groups and the strategic pursuit of opportunities to develop, own and/or operate assets.
He has a proven track record in developing high performance teams with people from diverse backgrounds in challenging environments. As a leader he understands the importance of motivating team members by instilling core values and standards, setting clear targets and driving ownership and accountability.
Having spent his early career working in a number of operational roles across Australia and Tanzania, Clint worked previously with Ausenco as Manager of our Minerals and Metals business in Peru. He has since been the General Manager for an Engineering and Construction firm in Africa before Managing the Copper Concentrator for Glencore’s Mount Isa Mines.
Clint has a Bachelor of Mineral Process Engineering – Honours, from the University of Queensland, is a Chartered Professional Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, is a Qualified author of numerous NI 43-101 compliant technical reports and is currently completing an MBA through Deakin University.
