Hemmera named one of British Columbia's Top Employers of 2018

Congratulations to the team at Hemmera, an Ausenco company, announced this week as one of British Columbia's (BC's) Top Employers of 2018.

The annual, high-profile competition recognises Canada’s best places to work – companies that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees. This is the third year in a row that Hemmera has won this award.

This year’s BC winners were evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers using the same criteria as the national competition: Physical Workplace; Work Atmosphere and Social; Health, Financial and Family Benefits; Vacation and Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training and Skills Development; and Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organisations in their field to determine which firm offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

Some of the reasons why Hemmera was selected as a BC Top Employer include: external and internal training opportunities, flexible work environment, vacation and time-off policies, high number of social events throughout the year, and amazing people.

Chris King-Sidney, President, Consulting, Ausenco said the award was testament to the Hemmera team’s focus on a strong culture and supportive team environment.

“Their culture was one of the reasons Ausenco acquired Hemmera in late 2017,” said Chris.

“We’re proud of the team for winning this award for the third consecutive year and look forward to their continued success as part of Ausenco.”
