Geneviève has over 10 years of experience in process engineering and process lead roles for mining and metals projects, specifically for lithium, gold, iron ore, and nickel. As a Process Manager, she is responsible for leading a team of process engineers in Montreal in the development of Minerals & Metals projects in North and South America. Geneviève has extensive experience in the preparation and review of mass metallurgical and energy balances, process flow diagrams, P&ID’s, equipment data sheets, equipment sizing, technical trade-off studies, and the supervision of various mineral test work campaigns.
Geneviève brings a robust suite of lithium experience, having worked for a Quebec-based lithium EPCM company in process lead roles. Her project experience in lithium includes process lead roles for the feasibility study of a hydrometallurgical plant for Nemaska lithium, where she was involved in the flowsheet design and development, and the equipment and technology selection. She has also contributed to several lithium project studies based in North America, where she also developed the flowsheet designs, and was involved in the equipment and technology selection process.
At Ausenco, Geneviève has held process lead and commissioning roles for key gold projects, including the Fruta Del Norte Gold Project detailed engineering phase, the Tijirit Gold Project scoping study and the start-up and commissioning phase for theMoose River Gold Project
Geneviève has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnique de Montreal and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. She is co-inventor on 3 patents regarding the preparation and treatment of lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonates.
