Helen’s extensive portfolio includes over 30 years of international experience in the fields of port and marine structures, bridges, and highway engineering.

Helen is a Civil/Structural Engineer with international experience in engineering design and analysis, project management, and the construction of port and marine terminals, bridges, and highway infrastructure. As Manager of Transportation & Logistics for Eastern Canada & USA, Helen leads a team of port, marine and naval architecture specialists in providing consulting engineering, advisory consulting, and asset management services to clients in Eastern Canada and USA.

Helen has an in-depth understanding and command of both the technical, financial and safety aspects of port and marine projects. She has managed a broad range of structural projects from inception through to design and construction in the UK, Canada, South America, and Africa. With 16 years of experience in Canada, she is conversant with local design codes and practices, environmental regulations, and state-of-the-art construction techniques, especially regarding freshwater engineering around the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway.
