General Manager, Operations and Maintenance

Ausenco has a great culture of innovation combined with some great engineering experience. The management team and my peers are supportive and make me feel like a valued member of the team.

The Isaac Plains CHPP was re-started very quickly and on a very low budget. The challenge has been to ensure our client’s production and operational budgets have been met while maintaining safety as our number one priority. We have implemented a new maintenance strategy, trained a new workforce and improved production rates. At Ausenco you are encouraged to think innovatively.

There are some very experienced project managers, engineers and support staff so there is plenty of opportunity to learn and grow. Ausenco has projects all over the globe so there is always something interesting happening. If you are considering joining Ausenco, I'd encourage you to find out more.

Kay Fitzgerald

Site Administrator, Ausenco Operations

My experience as part of the Isaac Plains CHPP Operations team is that it is a small and inclusive group, who cooperate with each other to achieve the running of the plant and increasing production. Since joining the team I’ve learned to take on a variety of tasks which is something I’ve found very enjoyable. It is a busy role that has called on my experience and knowledge but also challenged me to grow. It is rewarding to feel that I have earned the appreciation and respect of my colleagues.

In my experience the Ausenco team members have been open and honest and willing to reward hard work with recognition and encouragement. I enjoy working here and would recommend anyone to take a job with Ausenco.
