To demonstrate our commitment to the client, I worked at remote site on a mountainous ridge 2,500m above sea level with potential earthquakes and limited access.
There’s nothing like being with the client on the side of a mountain to build valuable relationships.
My most challenging project? I would have to say the Martabe Project, in Indonesia. Adapting to Indonesian suppliers and culture was challenging because it was different from ours, but at the same time very rewarding.
I had the opportunity to visit both Jakarta and Surabaya to meet with suppliers and our joint efforts really paid off.
I love the work/life balance and flexibility Ausenco offers. This is important to me now having a young child at home. I also enjoy the variety of tasks and people my role allows me to interact with on a daily basis.
Working in document control you learn to juggle large workloads with competing priorities, time management skills and how to use multiple different document management systems, just to name a few. It’s a fast paced environment that keeps you on your toes every day. We’re constantly challenged to increase efficiency without compromising on delivering quality data to our clients, securely. At times this requires thinking outside the box to overcome hurdles such as remote site locations or poor internet coverage.
pWorking for Ausenco is challenging yet rewarding. The experience you will gain is invaluable. Go for it!
