An expert in the operation and integrity of slurry pipeline systems, Mariano has overseen the design and management of mines and beneficiation plants, as well as water and slurry transportation systems.

Transforming engineering knowledge into solutions to meet technical, economic, social and environmental requirements, without forgetting the beauty and functionality of these proposed solutions, is the maximum challenge of professionals working in this area.

Mariano is a Professional with more than 37 years of experience. He is an expert in the management, operation, maintenance and integrity of pipelines. He has also been instrumental in the design and delivery of associated infrastructure, such as handling plants, crushing and processing, concentrate transport pipeline, water pumping systems and filtration and pelletizing plants.

He has been responsible for the design and implementation of unprecedented programs to rehabilitate the transportation capacity and integrity of aging pipelines, successfully mitigating the risks associated with long-term operation.

Postgraduate in Pipeline Engineering from PUC-Rio, he has been dedicated to the search for integrity solutions that can integrate available methodologies and models used by several pipeline operators and engineering companies with practical experiences in the operation of transportation systems.

Mariano also has extensive experience in the management of industrial facilities in the mining sector.
