Paul is recognised as an environmental assessment (EA) specialist with widely-varied project leadership ranging from contaminated sites to First Nations land development. He has extensive EA education and training skills, as well as project management experience including significant marine port developments, wind energy projects, and infrastructure projects across western Canada.
Paul is personally committed to the establishment of sound and sustainable business practices. He was a nominee for BC Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002, was recognised as a 40 Under 40 Achiever in BC, and holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and a B.Sc. in Geology from Queen’s University.
Paul is fully conversant with the extensive regulatory framework that exists around environmental assessment and land use management, having played an integral role in the evolution of public policy and planning since 1990. In addition, he has successfully navigated this regulatory framework for various industries, satisfying all permitting and approval requirements.
