Robin is a metallurgical engineer with diverse experience in process development, engineering design, and commercial operation of complex mineral processing and metals plants.

Having worked on both the client and engineering sides of projects and experiencing the challenges therein, I am continuously motivated to always think outside the box and bring innovation to the way we work with our clients and address their unique requirements.

Robin has specific expertise in the provision of project-based services, including metallurgical testing, process and equipment design, commercial operations support and evaluation of development projects, to third party clients with focus on precious and base metals recovery. Robin is skilled in the generation and execution of business development plans including cultivating new clients, maintaining and furthering existing relationships, and growing opportunities for the provision of technology and services. He has a solid track record for proposing, managing and completing evaluations of mineral processing and metallurgical projects including: scoping studies, prefeasibility studies and bankable feasibility studies for owners and third-party clients, as well as the authoring of regulatory compliance reports.

He has extensive experience in leading and contributing to the commissioning, start up and initial operation of complex commercial metallurgical plants, as well as technical evaluation and optimization of existing operations.

Strong analytical skills with a history of successfully analyzing and evaluating mining and metals projects of varied scope and value, including the review operating information and financial statements for the development of added-value proposals and for creating new opportunities for cooperation.

Robin is a:

  • Registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
  • Member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
