Scott is a study manager with substantial experience in Africa, having worked on projects and studies in Zambia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Sierra Leone. He brings a strong background across a wide range of minerals and metals processing plants and commodities, with particular expertise in lithium concentrator and conversion plant design and operations.
Scott was a study manager for notable projects at Ausenco including the Talison Lithium Chemical Plant FS, European Metal’s Cinovec lithium project PFS, and Bacanora’s Sonora lithium project FS. Scott’s study design experience of DMS plants include the McArthur River project, the Marilana Iron Ore project, the Kalia Iron Ore project, and the Birimian Lithium project. He has a considerable background in base metal flotation, providing numerous peer reviews on this field, as well as over 4 years of operational experience of sulphide ore DMS experience.
Scott’s significant projects also include the Lumwana Copper Project and the Lumwana Uranium Study as study manager. Scott has a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the University of New South Wales.
