Scott is a lead process engineer and lithium expert with over 25 years of experience in mineral processing for tantalum, tin and mineral sands, as well as more than 10 years of project engineering experience for lithium, tin, tantalum, tungsten, magnetite and hematite iron ore, phosphate, and mineral sands. Scott’s lithium expertise includes the design and operation of mineral separation circuits, as well as work on studies and designs of lithium beneficiation plants for pegmatites, micas and clay.
Scott has worked on major projects throughout his career, holding senior positions at the Wodgina Tantalum mine and the Greenbushes Lithium/Tantalum mine. At Ausenco, he has worked on the Sonora Lithium Project FS, the Birmian Limited’s Goulamina Lithium Project PFS, and the Cominco Resources’s Hinda Phosphate Project PFS.
Additionally, Scott has worked on processing plants and infrastructure for long-distance pipelines. His design experience includes being the lead process engineer on Base Resources’ Kwale project from the Enhanced DFS through to commissioning. Scott has a bachelor’s in Extractive Metallurgy from Murdoch University.
